Your team's starting time will be emailed to all registered team members and posted online about 3-4 weeks prior to the event. Waves will begin at 5:00 am, with the last wave starting by 8:30 am. The starting wave assignment is structured to maximize fun and safety throughout the entire course, while avoiding too many teams at any one transition at a given time.  Once your starting wave is assigned, changes are not possible. 

Teams are placed in waves based on your submitted overall team pace and each team member's submitted 10K pace, aiming to have all teams finish between 2:30 pm and 8:00 pm.  Please note that teams are NOT placed from slowest to fastest, and as long as your team provides an accurate pace prediction, everyone will finish between 2:30 pm and 8:00 pm.
