Starting Line Instructions

Teams should plan to arrive approximately 15-25 minutes before their start time. Each team’s first runner must check in with a V2V staff member before entering the starting chute, and must wear the event bib and safety gear if required. Teams must show safety gear (safety vest, headlamp, and blinking LED) at check-in. Slap bracelets will be given to the first runner upon presentation of the safety gear. The slap bracelets will contain your timing chip.

Team vehicles must display the V2V hangtag for the entire event. Teams that do not attend the Welcome Reception can check in at the starting line.

Portable toilets will be available at the starting line and at every transition. Priority toilets will be available for outgoing runners.

The starting line area will be open for team photos until five minutes before each start group. Make sure to tag #villetoville in your photos!

Safety gear will be required for all teams and will be mandatory for all active runners before 7:00 am. Safety gear includes a reflective safety vest, a headlamp, and a rear-facing blinking LED light. Safety Gear is also required for all Leg 2 runners.
